Norway leads the way in energy self-sufficiency

Datamonitor Energy data shows that Norway leads the European energy self-sufficiency rankings. In 2014 Norway will generate the highest percentage of electricity from renewable sources and hydro power versus demand. More than 133TWh of electricity will be generated, which is 105.5% of Norway's consumption. Austria and Sweden are ranked second and third respectively.
