Hungarian parcels market: B2B deliveries dominate

As is the case in most European markets, the business-to-business (B2B) segment dominates Hungary's express and parcels market in terms of recipient, accounting for 79% of market value in 2004. The B2B segment is also growing faster than the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment as the growth of the latter is limited by Hungary's low level of internet penetration and remote shopping. Deliveries to recipients within Hungary account for the majority of revenues in the market, although the international segment is growing at a faster rate.
