Koupon Media, a provider of Digital Campaign Management platform for retailers, has announced the launch of tap-to-redeem technology, to enable retailers, grocers, and c-stores to deploy single-use, fraud protected digital coupons.
According to the company, customers can deploy measureable, redeemable coupons and offers without POS integration enabling deployment of mobile campaigns in days. Koupon Media's DCM also allows retailers to get paid by Consumer Packaged Goods providers (CPGs) sooner than they do.
"Our tap-to-redeem technology can be executed in days, helping customers understand consumer behavior in real time," said TJ Person, Koupon Media founder and CEO. "Retailers and c-stores want to offer mobile coupons, but many find it cumbersome to deal with complex systems already in place. Our non-POS option allows immediate deployment so they can see, firsthand, how successful mobile campaigns can be."
Using DCM, shopper marketers send coupons directly to customers under their own brand without 3rd party disintermediation. When consumers receive coupons on their smartphone, they simply 'tap' the coupon to redeem it. The technology enforces one-time use through multi-layer fraud protection that automatically geofences redemptions and requires costumers to act within a pre-determined time.
