Enea reports profit for Q3

Enea, a software and services company engaged in providing Linux and real-time operating systems solutions, has reported that net profit after tax for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012 was SEK12.9 million, or SEK0.77 per share, compared to a net loss after tax of SEK28 million, or SEK1.63 loss per share, for the third quarter ended September 30, 2011.

Net sales for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012 were SEK107.3 million, compared to SEK101.1 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2011.

Net profit after tax for the nine months ended September 30, 2012 was SEK39 million, or SEK2.31 per share, compared to a net loss after tax of SEK15.7 million, or SEK0.91 loss per share, for the nine months ended September 30, 2011.

Net sales for the nine months ended September 30, 2012 were SEK345.3 million, compared to SEK322 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2011.

Anders Lidbeck, President and CEO comments: "Enea has continued its positive development over the period. Our third quarter showed a considerable improvement, with an operating profit which was around five times better than in the same period last year. This was our best third quarter since our record year 2008. We delivered a profit per share which equaled the level from that year, even though we have divested 35 percent of our business."
