Delta Apparel, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of lifestyle branded activewear apparel and headwear, has reported a net income of $46,000, or $0.01 per share, for the second quarter ended December 29, 2012, compared to net loss of $13.59 million, or $1.61 loss per share, for the same quarter ended December 31, 2011. For fiscal 2013, the company expects net income to be in a range of $1.65 to $1.80 per diluted share.
Net sales for the second quarter ended December 29, 2012 were $106.75 million, compared to $105.49 million, for the same quarter ended December 31, 2011.
Net income for the six months ended December 29, 2012 was $3.61 million, or $0.42 per diluted share, compared to net loss of $9.18 million, or $1.09 loss per diluted share, for the same period ended December 31, 2011.
Net sales for the six months ended December 29, 2012 were $236.86 million, compared to $229.01 million, for the same period ended December 31, 2011.

The Game's basic tee products now employ a completely vertical production model extending from textiles through screen printing.

Our Fall 2013 line received an excellent reaction from buyers at the recent Surf Expo in Orlando, Florida, and we are making good headway in establishing the brand on the West Coast."
