Daimler AG, a Germany-based company that develops, manufactures and distributes automotive products, has reported that profit attributable to shareholders of the company for the fourth quarter of 2012 was E2.23 billion, compared to E1.71 billion for the fourth quarter of 2011.
Revenue for the fourth quarter of 2012 was E29.83 billion, compared to E29.07 billion for the fourth quarter of 2011.
Profit attributable to shareholders of the company for 2012 was E6.09 billion, compared to E5.67 billion for 2011.
Revenue for 2012 was E114.3 billion, compared to E106.54 billion for 2011.
"The past financial year was overall a strong year for Daimler with some great achievements, but also with clear potential for improvement. We achieved new records for unit sales and revenue at both the Group and Mercedes-Benz Cars, and launched new products in all divisions to the market, which received excellent response" stated Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars.
