Bell Aliant expands FibreOP connections in New Brunswick

Bell Aliant Inc., a communications provider, has added eight new communities throughout the New Brunswick province in early 2013.

The $12-million investment will bring this FibreOP technology to approximately 22,000 homes and businesses throughout New Brunswick, the company said.

With a FibreOP bundle, customers save on the best of everything."

According to the company, Bell Aliant's 100 per cent fibre-to-the-home network is already available across New Brunswick in Woodstock, Saint John, Fredericton, Greater Moncton, Bathurst, Grand Falls, Sussex, Edmundston, Campbellton, Hampton, and Miramichi.

Service will be available by the end of February 2013 in Sackville, Beresford, and Petit-Rocher, with service launching in other communities throughout the spring, the company added.
